Janice Osugi

Director of Investment Strategy

Janice joined BluePointe Capital Management in 2021 as Director of Investment Strategy. She is responsible for managing the firm’s due diligence process and providing research and analysis on new and existing investments. Janice monitors client portfolios with the advisory team and makes recommendations in alignment with our investing philosophy and portfolio guidelines. Prior to joining BluePointe, she was a senior member of the investment team at Progress Investment Management Company where she sourced new investments and executed due diligence on behalf of their multi-billion-dollar public pension plan and foundation clients. Before that, Janice acted as a fiduciary for the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco by evaluating investment opportunities, risk and performance for its $3 billion public/private/real assets across endowments, philanthropic funds and supporting foundations. Janice developed her skills in wealth management at Credit Suisse, managing portfolios of traditional and non-traditional asset classes and overlaying expertise in derivatives to enhance returns or mitigate risk while engaging accounting, lending, and legal experts to preserve wealth. Janice earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. When she is not immersed in investment research, you’ll mostly find Janice training her rescue dog and dreaming of when she might scuba dive in an exotic location or crush it on the snowboard once again!
